Matthias Sammer ist ein ehemaliger deutscher Fußballspieler und Fußballtrainer, der 1996 Europas Fußballer des Jahres wurde. Er spielte für Dynamo Dresden, Stuttgart, Inter und Dortmund und gewann zahlreiche Titel als Spieler und Trainer.
Matthias Sammer is a German football official and former player and coach. He played as a defensive midfielder and later as a sweeper for Dynamo Dresden, VfB Stuttgart, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund, winning the UEFA Euro 1996 and the UEFA Champions League with Dortmund.
