Gary James Paffett (born 24 March 1981 in Bromley) is a British racing driver. Having become a household name in the DTM, following fifteen years in the series and two championship wins, Paffett moved onto Formula E for the 2018/19 championship, after it was announced in 2017 that Mercedes would no longer be taking part in DTM.

As the 2005 and 2018 DTM Champion, Gary Paffett is a household name across the motorsport world having racked up over 185 starts, 23 wins, 48 podiums, 17 pole positions and 14 fastest laps over the past fifteen years.
BIOGRAPHY. Gary Paffett first developed his passion for motorsport watching his father, Jim, compete in club racing. After being given a Cadet kart for Christmas, Paffett Junior took to the track at the age of 9.
