Anton Herman Gerard "Anthony" Fokker (6 April 1890 – 23 December 1939) was a Dutch aviation pioneer, aviation entrepreneur, aircraft designer, and aircraft manufacturer. He produced fighter aircraft in Germany during the First World War such as the Eindecker monoplanes, the Dr.1 triplane and the D.VII biplane.

Anthony Fokker was born on April 6, 1890 in Blitar, Java, then part of the Dutch East Indies, as the son of a wealthy coffee planter. At the age of 4 the Fokker family settled in Haarlem. School and study were not for Anthony. The only diploma he possessed was a driver's license. But he had plenty of energy.
Anthony Fokker. Built his open monoplane and earned his pilot certificate in 1910. Established Fokker Aeroplane in 1912 in Germany where he trained pilots and built planes for individuals and the German army. Designed monoplanes, biplanes and triplanes during the First World War.
