Victor Ehrenberg (22 November 1891 – 25 January 1976) was a German Jewish historian . Life. Ehrenberg was born in Altona, Hamburg to a noted German Jewish family. He was the younger brother of Hans Ehrenberg and the nephew of the jurist Victor Ehrenberg, and a nephew of economist Richard Ehrenberg. [1]

Storico tedesco, ora naturalizzato inglese, nato ad Altona nel 1891. Allievo di W. Weber, sì laureò a Tubinga nel 1920, fu libero docente a Francoforte dal 1922 al 1929, professore di storia antica nell'università tedesca di Praga dal 1929 al 1939. È dal 1946 lecturer di storia antica nel Bedford College dell'università di Londra.
