Jacob Obrecht è stato un compositore fiammingo rinascimentale della Scuola franco fiamminga. Fu il più famoso compositore europeo di messe del tardo XV secolo, eclissato soltanto dopo la sua morte da Josquin Desprez. Scrisse anche molti mottetti e alcune chanson.
