Isaac Ignaz Moscheles (German pronunciation: [ˈɪɡnaːts ˈmɔʃələs]; 23 May 1794 – 10 March 1870) was a Bohemian piano virtuoso and composer. He was based initially in London and later at Leipzig, where he joined his friend and sometime pupil Felix Mendelssohn as professor of piano in the Conservatory.
19 mag 2024 · Ignaz Moscheles (born May 23, 1794, Prague, Bohemia, Austrian Habsburg domain [now in Czech Republic]—died March 10, 1870, Leipzig [Germany]) was a Czech pianist, one of the outstanding virtuosos of his era. Moscheles studied at the Prague Conservatory and later at Vienna under Johann Georg Albrechtsberger and Antonio Salieri.

Pianista e compositore, nato a Praga il 30 maggio 1794, morto a Lipsia il 10 marzo 1870. Studiò il pianoforte prima con D. Weber poi con M. Clementi, e la composizione con J.G. Albrechtsberger e con A. Salieri. A 12 anni inizi0 la serie dei suoi concerti; a 14 eseguì in pubblico un Concerto di sua composizione.
