Stanisław Moniuszko (Ubiel, 5 maggio 1819 – Varsavia, 4 giugno 1872) è stato un compositore polacco. A partire dal 1827 il giovane Moniuszko ha studiato musica a Varsavia da August Freyer , poi a Minsk da Dominik Stefanowicz.

Following a short spell of home education with his mother, Elżbieta, Moniuszko started to learn piano with August Freyer in Warsaw in 1827, to continue with Dominik Stefanowicz in Minsk from 1830.
