Ike Clanton. Joseph Isaac Clanton (c.1847 – June 1, 1887) was a member of a loose association of outlaws known as The Cowboys who clashed with lawmen Wyatt, Virgil and Morgan Earp as well as Doc Holliday.

Ike Clanton, vero nome Joseph Isaac Clanton (Contea di Callaway, 1847 – Springerville, 1º giugno 1887), è stato un pistolero statunitense. Membro della banda di fuorilegge nota come Cowboys operante nei dintorni di Tombstone (Arizona) negli anni ’80 del XIX secolo.
Giovedì 25 ottobre del 1881 Ike Clanton e Tom McLaury partirono dal Chandler's Milk Ranch in direzione di Tombstone. Essi giunsero in città a bordo di un carro intorno alle 11 del mattino per acquistare delle provviste.

Two lawmen, Jake Brighton and Albert Miller, were attempting to arrest him for cattle theft at Jim “Peg Leg” Wilson’s ranch. Suddenly, Ike wheeled his horse around and bolted toward a thick stand of trees nearby.
