Erick Hawkins, alla nascita Frederick Hawkins,, è stato un ballerino e coreografo statunitense.
The next year, Hawkins was the first man to dance with the company of the famous modern dancer and choreographer Martha Graham. In 1939, he officially joined her troupe, dancing male lead in a number of her works, including Appalachian Spring in 1944. They married in 1948.

Erick Hawkins, alla nascita Frederick Hawkins, (Trinidad, 23 aprile 1909 – New York, 23 novembre 1994), è stato un ballerino e coreografo statunitense.
A deeply spiritual man, Hawkins has often been called the “poet” of modern dance. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in classics from Harvard University in 1932, Hawkins began to study ballet and in 1934 made his debut in George Balanchine’s Serenade.
