Paul T. Scheuring (born November 20, 1968) is an American screenwriter and director of films and television shows. His work includes the 2003 film A Man Apart and the creation of the television drama Prison Break, for which he was also credited as an executive producer and head writer.
The original concept of Prison Break—a man deliberately getting himself sent to prison in order to help someone escape—was suggested to Paul Scheuring by producer Dawn Parouse, who wanted to produce an action-oriented series.
Paul T. Scheuring was born on 20 November 1968 in Aurora, Illinois, USA. He is a producer and writer, known for The Experiment (2010), Den of Thieves (2018) and Prison Break (2005).
