When you say Brouwerij ‘t IJ, then you automatically think of the Zatte Tripel. It was the first beer brewed in the tanks on the Funenkade. In true Belgian tradition, it’s a full, malty and smooth 8% alcohol tripel. An unfiltered, robust golden beer with an aroma of fresh fruit and hints of grain.

Brouwerij 't IJ (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌbrʌu.əˈrɛi ət ˈɛi]; English: The IJ Brewery) is a small brewery in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is located in a former bath house named Funen, next to the De Gooyer windmill.

Il Birrificio Brouwerij ‘t IJ si trova all’interno di un ex bagno pubblico accanto al mulino a vento De Gooyer, uno degli 8 rimasti ad Amsterdam, e produce secondo i metodi tradizionali birre artigianali non filtrate o pastorizzate, organiche al 100 per cento.
