Year: 1979. Original title: The Saint and the Brave Goose. Synopsis: Simon Templar competes in a speedboat race and witnesses one of his fellow competitors, Oscar West, in trouble. West's speedboat subsequently explodes.
The only remaining asset is a boat registered to her, 'The Brave Goose'. Annabel travels to the French Riviera to sell the boat, but is kidnapped by three hoodlums who, it transpires, are colleagues of her late husband.
The Saint and the Brave Goose is a 1979 telefilm re-edited from a two-part episode of the Return of the Saint TV series starring Ian Ogilvy as Simon Templar. The film was also released theatrically in some markets and novelised as Salvage for the Saint in 1983.
