A Wyoming cop teams with a Beverly Hills policeman to track down the killer of her best friend.
Comely female detective from Laramie, Wyoming, links up with laid-back Beverly Hills cop, a desk jockey assigned to keep her out of the department's hair, while she goes about tracking down the killer of a respectable smalltown girl who turns out to be a hooker mixed up in diamond smuggling.
Brolin plays a Beverly Hills cop who teams up with a luscious female private eye from Texas (Hartman, of course). While Brolin prefers peace and quiet, Hartman insists upon rooting out the murderer of a debutante-turned-hooker.
