Jake Hopper è un ex agente della Cia, esperto in arti marziali e in armi non convenzionali. Sua figlia Jessica viene rapita insieme alla figlia del senatore Winthorpe mentre si trovano in vacanza in Thailandia. Scopo dei criminali è la liberazione dei terroristi islamici detenuti a Guantanamo.
