What Changed Charley Farthing? (also known as The Bananas Boat), is a 1975 comedy film directed by Sidney Hayers, starring Doug McClure, Lionel Jeffries, and Hayley Mills. [1] [2] It is based on the 1965 novel of the same title by John Harris (as Mark Hebden).
Charley Farthing (Doug McClure) is on the run. Chased by an irate husband with murder on his mind, Charley finds himself hopping on a ship, chased by authorities on a politically turmoiled island and forced to skipper an old ship all the way to Ireland.

A goofy Spanish-shot, Cuban-set British comedy. Forgettable lark. Lots of 'crazy Cubans', and BOTH Warren Mitchell AND Lionel Jeffries (my dear old ma thought they were the same person, bless...)
