Someone She Knows is a 1994 American television drama film directed by Eric Laneuville. The film aired on October 3, 1994 on the NBC network.
It is based on the true story of Amanda Shaffer, a 5-year-old girl from Goddard, Texas who was murdered in 1986 by a neighbor who was employed by the police.
Police officer Frank Mayfield helps Laurie Philips search for the killer of her 5-year-old daughter, Marilee and the police suspect that Marilee was murdered by a person connected to her family.
