Synopsis. Suffering from writer’s block, novelist Marian Walker turns to her mentor and ex-lover, Jackson. But his advice unexpectedly leads one of her characters to escape from the novel and stir up the unresolved issues in her life.
Lovely by Surprise plot. First, there is writer Marian (Carrie Preston), who is struggling with a serious writer's block. She feels that one of her characters is aware of his fictional status.
