A Song of Good - Gary Cradle (Gareth Reeves) wants to go straight, but has to face up to a drug habit, family dysfunction, and the burden of guilt over a past sin. This redemptive recovery yarn from writer/director Kingi Rummler (then known as Gregory King) debuted at the Rotterdam Film Festival.
A whiny, unlikable, twerp breaks into a woman's house in order to rip her off to feed his drug habit. She catches him and he rapes her. After that the gent decides to try to improve everyone's lives around him by doing nice things and going straight.
A Song of Good plot. Gary, a young man from a disadvantaged working class background, has sunk into a pool of drugs, violence and superficial sex. One day he finds himself confronted with his own conscience. After committing a burglary at his neighbor, whom he rapes to his own astonishment, he decides to change his life.
