On board the plane, Mary Ellen meets a gentleman who introduces himself as a French count in the import-export business in Tangier, Morocco, a city that has long fascinated Mary Ellen. When they part, the count gives her a telephone number where she can reach him.

Mary Ellen travels abroad and ends up marrying a Count while she is intoxicated. The Count disappears and with the aid of her father, George, she tracks down his address in the Casbah, only to discover he was an impostor. The real count is Henri, a nondescript man with a shrewd business sense.
Synopsis. Mary Ellen, a restless American heiress, travels to Seville, Spain to visit relatives but on the plane meets a handsome business man who resides in Tangier and invites her to visit the mysterious city in North Africa.
