A motorist picks up to escaped convicts. Instead of turning them over to the police he hires them to kill his wife.
Two escaped convicts are picked up by a passing motorist. In return for not turning them into the police he offers to pay them to kill his wife. However he turns out to be as dangerous as the criminals. This is a well paced gritty British film noir style film.
