Le bel âge. FRANCIA 2009. La 17enne Claire, promettente nuotatrice, è orgogliosa, ribelle e solitaria ed è alle prese con i primi sentimenti amorosi. La ragazza è rimasta orfana e vive con il nonno Maurice, un misterioso compositore con cui non va troppo d'accordo.
Le bel âge (2009) Maurice (Michel Piccoli) is a composer, and a longtime member of the resistance. By chance, he shares a house with his teenager granddaughter. Claire, at 17, is eager to experience all sorts of things and the sooner the better, and rebels against anyone who wants to stop him.

Maurice Reverdy, un vieil homme aussi mystérieux qu'extravagant, l'a recueillie dans sa grande demeure. Mais Claire évite soigneusement cette figure lointaine qui n'est autre que son grand-père.
Directed by Laurent Perreau. At 18, Claire is torn between swim practice and the pangs of first love. The elderly and eccentric Maurice Reverdy takes her in in his big house, but the girl carefully avoids this faraway figure, who is none other than her grandfather.
