The Liar and His Lover (カノジョは嘘を愛しすぎてる, Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru) is a 2013 Japanese musical romance film starring Takeru Satoh and Sakurako Ohara. It is based on the Shōjo manga of the same name by Kotomi Aoki.
Summary: Ogasawara Aki (25) is the reclusive, idealistic composer of the popular band Crude Play. Discontented with his life and with no drive to succeed, he meets Riko, the 16-year-old grocer's daughter in a band consisting of her childhood friends, and asks her to be his girlfriend on a whim.
