Film Karolina Riječka slobodno se temelji na legendarnoj priči mlade Karoline Belinić. Kada je engleska flota počela ispaljivati topove na jadransku luku Rijeka, mlada Karolina ukrcala se na brod engleskog admirala Johna Learda i dogovorila primirje kako bi spasila grad od uništenja.
Synopsis. British ships are ready to attack Rijeka and destroy Napoleon’s army. Young Caroline, determined to help save her home town, tries to persuade the admiral, but her charms are not enough and she has to convince her husband to make a deal with the admiral to stop him from the attack.
