The history of Tanagra has deep and ancient roots. In 1947, in the building of today’s restaurant, was born a high-class ceramic workshop producing worldwide famous works. The workshop was named Tanagra, in honour of the Greek city where the first coloured ceramics, the Tanagrine, were found.
