The award-winning Scottish actor Iain Glen stars in another gritty murder mystery in the last of the current series based on Ken Bruen’s acclaimed crime novels set in Ireland.
Filming for Shot Down, the sixth episode of the series, and billed as the season one finale, began on 7 June 2013. The film is based on Bruen's novel The Killing of the Tinkers.

‘Jack Taylor: Shot Down’ - the season one finale of TV3’s adaptation of the murder mystery novels by Ken Bruen - is currently filming until 28th June in Wicklow. Principal photography began on 11th June, taking in locations at Ardmore studios, Kilruddery and Bray - as the final 90 minute installment in the six-episode first season.
