4 dic 1999 · Gherman's long-awaited new film, Khrustaliov, My Car!, was seven years in production. Inspired by Joseph Brodsky's essay "In a Room and a Half," the film received its world premiere at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival and has been shown to great critical acclaim in festivals throughout the world.
Released in United States 1998 (Shown at New York Film Festival September 25 - October 11, 1998.) Winner of the 2000 Nika Awards (Russia's equivalent of the Oscar) for Best Film, Best Director, Best Production Design, Best Costume Design and Best Cinematography.
