The Exorcist is an American horror media franchise that originated with William Peter Blatty 's 1971 horror novel of the same name (itself inspired by the 1949 exorcism of Roland Doe) and most prominently featured in a 1973 film adaptation of the novel, and many subsequent prequels and sequels.
The film stars Rudy Barrow, Liz Mente Bishop, Nathan Head and Bob Lee. The story was built on the premise that an epidemic of demonic possessions are increasing at an alarming rate.

Exorcist Chronicles The ultimate battle between good and evil commences with a perpetrator so ancient only the illuminated know of its existence, a god unlike any before or after has returned to claim the souls of earth.
The film stars Rudy Barrow, Liz Mente Bishop, Nathan Head and Bob Lee. The story was built on the premise that an epidemic of demonic possessions are increasing at an alarming rate. The story-line follows a priest charged with handling an "outbreak" of these possessions in a region of England with the assistance of an Epidemiologist.
