The Roaming Cowboy plot. Evans wants to own rancher territory. After killing Buddy Barry's father, Evans hunts down the rancher Morgan. Cal Brent foils Evans' plan to kidnap Morgan's cousin Jeannie. Evans then kills Morgan and blames Brent. Brent manages to escape the sheriff and joins Fuzzy and Jeannie.
