Buster Keaton was an American comic actor, filmmaker, producer and writer. He was best known for his silent films, in which his trademark was physical comedy with a consistently stoic, deadpan expression, earning him the nickname The Great Stone Face. He was recognized as the seventh-greatest director of all time by Entertainment Weekly.
The Great Stone Face plot. This documentary tells the story behind the master of silent comedy; the director, script writer and actor/stuntman Buster Keaton. In the early 1950s, it seemed that Buster's legacy was lost forever, but in 1954 Buster Keaton Productions was revived, and nearly all of his films could be saved and restored.
