Baadshah (transl. King) is a 1999 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Abbas–Mustan. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Twinkle Khanna in lead roles. It was released on 27 August 1999. Synopsis. Raj (Shahrukh Khan) is a detective. Under a pseudonym, "Baadshah", he runs Baadshah Detective Agency out of a Mumbai office. In his employ are several individuals - Rocky, Bhola, Chauki Lal, and chief assistant Ram Lal (Johnny Lever). He receives little business, and is desperate for a big break.
