I Tankard sono un gruppo thrash metal nato a Francoforte ( Germania) nel 1982. Dopo aver perso il loro chitarrista fecero uscire il loro primo disco Zombie Attack, nel 1986. Da lì in poi il gruppo ha continuato a fare canzoni e album con lo stesso stile; un thrash metal molto veloce e con tematiche in onore dell'alcool.

Tankard is a German thrash metal band from Frankfurt, founded in 1982. [1] Alongside Kreator, Destruction and Sodom, Tankard is often considered one of the "Big Four" of Teutonic thrash metal.
A tankard is a form of drinkware consisting of a large, roughly cylindrical, drinking cup with a single handle. Tankards are usually made of silver or pewter, but can be made of other materials, for example wood, ceramic, or leather. [1] A tankard may have a hinged lid, and tankards featuring glass bottoms are also fairly common.
