  1. The Refreshments are a Swedish rock band formed in 1989 in Gävle. They initially played mainly covers of 1950s rock and roll songs. They originally started playing as "The King-Cats," but changed their name to The Refreshments in 1991. Their 1995 first album, Both Rock'n'Roll, was followed by 1997's Trouble Boys.

  2. In 1989 they decided to do something about it, formed The Refreshments, and with half a million albums sold (of which twelve gold and two platinum), a Grammy nomination and more than 4 000 live shows has deserved the title as Sweden's hardest and most rootsy rock'n'roll band many times over.
