Gli HammerFall sono un gruppo musicale power metal svedese formatosi nel 1993. Il gruppo debuttò nel 1997 con l'album Glory to the Brave, disco che riscosse un grande successo in tutto il mondo.
HammerFall was formed when guitarist Oscar Dronjak quit Ceremonial Oath and invited Jesper Strömblad (from Ceremonial Oath and In Flames) to join him as a drummer in a new musical project he had been contemplating for some time.
Medieval battles, Fantasy, Templar Knights. Current label: Nuclear Blast. Years active: 1993-present. After quitting Ceremonial Oath, Oscar Dronjak and Jesper Strömblad formed HammerFall with Niklas Sundin and Mikael Stanne, both of whom are members of Dark Tranquillity.

1 dic 2021 · Gli HAMMERFALL presentano il loro dodicesimo album in studio, uscito il 25 febbraio 2022, con il singolo omonimo e il video girato a Liseberg. Il disco è un capolavoro del metal svedese, con la partecipazione di King Diamond e la produzione di Fredrik Nordström e Jacob Hansen.
