Anderson Meade "Lux" Lewis (September 4, 1905 – June 7, 1964) was an American pianist and composer, remembered for his playing in the boogie-woogie style. His best-known work, "Honky Tonk Train Blues", has been recorded by many artists.

American jazz pianist. Born in September 1905 (on September 3rd, 4th, or 13th, according to various sources) in Louisville, Kentucky. Lewis was hit and killed by a drunk driver after a performance on June 7, 1964. A 1927 rendition of “Honky Tonky Train Blues” on the Paramount Records label was his recording debut.
