Damian Joseph Kulash Jr. (born October 7, 1975) is an American musician. He is the lead singer and guitarist of the American rock band OK Go . Early life and education. Kulash was born in Washington D.C. on October 7, 1975. Kulash graduated from St. Albans School in 1994. He trained as a youth at the Interlochen Arts Camp.

The band's lead singer, Damian Kulash, met bassist Tim Nordwind at Interlochen Arts Camp near Traverse City, Michigan, when they were 11. [2] . The band name comes from an inside joke developed at Interlochen; their art teacher had an often high assistant who would repeatedly say, "OK... Go!" while they were drawing. [3] .
