Johnny Dodds (Waveland, 12 aprile 1892 – Chicago, 8 agosto 1940) è stato un clarinettista jazz statunitense, fratello maggiore del batterista Baby Dodds. Johnny Dodds. Profile: American jazz & blues clarinetist, born 12 April 1892, he grew up in New Orleans. Largely self taught, Dodds gained valuable early experience with such legendary bands as the Eagle and the Tuxedo. Years (ca.)1911 to 1916 found him working with trombonist Kid Ory.

Johnny Dodds (April 12, 1892 – August 8, 1940) was an American jazz clarinetist, and older brother of drummer Baby Dodds. Born in Waveland, Mississippi, he moved to New Orleans in his youth, and studied clarinet with Lorenzo Tio. He played with the bands of Frankie Duson, Kid Ory, and King Oliver.
