Sir Colin Blakemore, FRS, FMedSci, HonFRCP, Hon FRSM, FRSB, FBPhS (1 June 1944 – 27 June 2022) was a British neurobiologist, specialising in vision and the development of the brain. He was Yeung Kin Man Professor of Neuroscience and senior fellow of the Hong Kong Institute for Advanced Study at City University of Hong Kong.

6/22 Settembre 2024. Sir Colin Davis è presidente della London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) e Direttore onorario della Staatskapelle Dresden. Nel 2010 ha accetttato l’incarico di Direttore emerito della English Chamber Orchestra (ECO), a seguito del grande successo conseguito in un concerto con musiche di Haydn con la ECO a Eisenstadt, Austria.
