Biografia. Autodidatta dotato di una tecnica e di un virtuosismo strabilianti e di un notevolissimo senso del ritmo e del tempo, Garner si è guadagnato un posto di rilievo nella storia del pianoforte jazz, anche grazie alle sue concezioni musicali che lo hanno tenuto abbastanza lontano dalle correnti standard del jazz.
Erroll Louis Garner (June 15, 1921 – January 2, 1977) [1] [2] [3] was an American jazz pianist and composer known for his swing playing and ballads. His instrumental ballad "Misty", his best-known composition, has become a jazz standard.
