Andy Prieboy (born April 17, 1955 [1]) is an American musician, songwriter, and author. He was lead singer of the band Wall of Voodoo from 1983 to 1988. Later, he produced solo albums, musicals, and a novel. Life and career. Prieboy was born in Los Angeles and raised in East Chicago, Indiana.

Andy Prieboy. American musician and author, born 17 April 1955 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Frontman and lead songwriter of Wall of Voodoo's second line-up from 1985, until the band had to call it quits in 1989. Been releasing original material since 1990, be it studio recordings or an occasional live play.
In late 2023 Andy Prieboy and Chas T. Gray launched a website under the name "Wall of Voodoo 2", announcing the upcoming release of recently rediscovered and previously unreleased recordings.
