Conte dell'isola di Jersey o Conte di Jersey è un titolo nobiliare ereditario nel Pari d'Inghilterra. Venne creato nel 1697 per Edward Villiers, visconte Villiers. Egli era stato creato, nel 1691, barone Villiers e visconte Villiers . Gli succedette suo figlio, il secondo conte.

Si sedette come deputato per Rochester (1830-1831), per Minehead (1831-1832), per Honiton (1832-1835), per Weymouth e Melcome Regis (1837-1842) e per Cirencester (1844-1852).

George Child Villiers, 5th Earl of Jersey, GCH, PC (19 August 1773 – 3 October 1859), previously George Villiers and styled Viscount Villiers until 1805, was a British courtier and Conservative politician from the Villiers family. He added the name of Child to his own by royal licence in 1819.
Public life Villiers was educated at Eton College and at New College, Oxford. He succeeded his father in the earldom in 1915 and served briefly as a Lord-in-waiting under David Lloyd George between January and August 1919. He was a Justice of the peace and deputy lieutenant in Oxfordshire and an alderman and vice chairman for Oxfordshire County Council and a high steward for the city of Oxford ...
