James Alexander Douglas-Hamilton, Baron Selkirk of Douglas, PC, KC (31 July 1942 – 28 November 2023) was a Scottish Conservative politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Edinburgh West and then as a member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Lothians region.

He then served as an MSP following the first Scottish Parliament election in 1999 before stepping down in 2007. Douglas-Hamilton retired from the Lords in July this year.
