Dr. Julia Nesheiwat currently serves as the Deputy Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Resilience on the National Security Council. She previously served on the Florida Governor’s cabinet as the first Chief Resilience Officer, tasked with preparing the state for the impacts of natural disasters and rising sea levels.
