Ertha Pascal-Trouillot (French pronunciation: [ɛʁta paskal tʁujo]; born 13 August 1943) [1] is a Haitian politician who served as the provisional President of Haiti for 11 months in 1990 and 1991. She was the first woman in Haitian history to hold that office and the first female president of African descent in the Americas.

Ertha Pascal-Trouillot, née le 13 août 1943 à Pétion-Ville, est une magistrate et femme politique haïtienne, première femme présidente de la République à titre provisoire de mars 1990 au 7 février 1991.
Juriste de formation, Ertha Pascal devient la première femme avocate d'Haïti en 1971, puis la première femme membre de la Cour de cassation en 1986, peu après la chute du régime de Jean-Claude Duvalier.
