Archibald Douglas, 6th Earl of Angus (c. 1489 – 22 January 1557) was a Scottish nobleman active during the reigns of James V and Mary, Queen of Scots. He was the son of George, Master of Angus , who was killed at the Battle of Flodden , and succeeded as Earl of Angus on the death of his grandfather, Archibald .

Archibald Douglas, 5th Earl of Angus (c. 1449 – October 1513) was a Scottish nobleman, peer, politician, and magnate. Tradition has accorded him the nickname Archibald 'Bell-the-Cat' due to his association with the 1482 rebellion against James III of Scotland .
Archibald Douglas, 8th earl of Angus, Scottish rebel during the reign of James VI and a strong advocate of Presbyterian government. He was son of the 7th earl, who was nephew of the 6th, and he succeeded to the earldom at the age of two. The earldom of Morton came to him in 1586.
