Yolande Elsa Maria Beekman (7 January 1911 – 13 September 1944) was a British spy in World War II who served in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF) and the Special Operations Executive.

25 mar 2023 · Yolande Beekman. Yolande Unternahrer was born in Paris to a Swiss family in 1911 and moved to London as a child. After the declaration of war in 1939 she enlisted into the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force (WAFFs) where she trained as a wireless operator.
1 set 2021 · After a failed escape attempt, she was transported to Dachau Concentration Camp alongside her fellow female agents: Yolande Beekman, Madeleine Damerment and Eliane Plewman. All 4 were executed at dawn on 13 September 1944, with Khan’s last word reported to be simply: “Liberté”
