Cainan o Cainam è un patriarca post-diluviano citato nella Septuaginta, la traduzione greca del Libro della Genesi, nel Libro dei Giubilei e nella genealogia di Gesù del Vangelo di Luca, dove appunto è utilizzato il nome Cainam per Cainan o per Chenan.
