Susanna Hall (née Shakespeare; baptised 26 May 1583 – 11 July 1649) was the oldest child of William Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway and the older sister of twins Judith and Hamnet Shakespeare. Susanna married John Hall, a local physician, in 1607. They had one daughter, Elizabeth, in 1608.

29 feb 2020 · Susanna Hall, Shakespeare’s elder daughter, was buried on July 16, 1649, according to the Holy Trinity Church parish register. Next to the entry, an “X” added by a later hand highlights its significance. She had died five days earlier on July 11, aged 66, and was buried in the chancel of the parish church.
