Zeng Jinlian (simplified Chinese: 曾金莲; traditional Chinese: 曾金蓮; pinyin: Zēng Jīnlián, 26 June 1964 – 13 February 1982) was a Chinese teenage girl who held the world record of being the tallest woman verified in modern times, surpassing Jane Bunford's record.
Zeng Jinlian (China, b. 26 June 1964) of Yujiang village in the Bright Moon Commune, Hunan Province, measured 246.3 cm (8 ft 1 in) when she died on 13 February 1982. She began to grow abnormally from the age of four months and stood 156 cm (5 ft 1 1/2 in) before her fourth birthday and 217 cm (7 ft 1 1/2 in) when she was aged 13.

Zeng Jinlian (China, b. 26 June 1964, d. 13 February 1982) reached a staggering 8 ft 1 in (2.46 m). Surprisingly, all of her family members were under 5 ft 5 in. Zeng is the only woman to have ever exceeded the eight-foot mark. She stood over one foot taller than the current tallest woman living, Rumeysa Gelgi (Turkey).
