Ferdinand August Bebel (* 22. Februar 1840 in Deutz bei Köln; † 13. August 1913 in Passugg, Kanton Graubünden) war ein sozialistischer deutscher Politiker und Publizist. Er war einer der Begründer der deutschen Sozialdemokratie und gilt bis in die Gegenwart als eine ihrer herausragenden historischen Persönlichkeiten.
Uomo politico (Colonia 1840 - Passugg, Zurigo, 1913). Operaio tornitore, dopo essere stato tra gli organizzatori delle prime associazioni operaie in Germania, nel 1869 costituì con W. Liebknecht il Partito socialdemocratico tedesco, di cui divenne uno dei massimi dirigenti.
