Jérôme Pétion de Villeneuve /pe.tjɔ̃/, né à Chartres le 3 janvier 1756, mort dans la commune de Saint-Magne-de-Castillon le 24 juin 1794, est un avocat et un révolutionnaire français, maire de Paris de 1791 à 1792.
Jérôme Pétion de Villeneuve (French pronunciation: [ʒeʁom petjɔ̃ də vilnœv]; 3 January 1756 – 18 June 1794) was a French writer and politician who served as the second mayor of Paris, from 1791 to 1792, and the first regular president of the National Convention in 1792.
Avvocato eletto per il Terzo agli Stati Generali (1789), fu con M. Robespierre alla testa di un piccolo gruppo di deputati democratici schierati all'estrema sinistra nell'Assemblea Costituente. Eletto sindaco di Parigi nel nov. 1791, favorì la dimostrazione antimonarchica del 20 giugno e l'insurrezione popolare del 10 ag. 1792.

Il figure parmi les commissaires chargés de ramener la famille royale à Paris après la fuite de Varennes et promeut activement, dès son retour à la capitale, la pétition demandant la déchéance du Roi. Le 14 novembre 1791, il est élu maire de Paris.
